Chinese Brush Painting Workshop

Practice the ancient arts of Chinese Brush Painting, Calligraphy, and Japanese paper marbling with artist and teacher, Joy Harvey.  Joy has over 30 years experience to share with this limited enrollment class.  A fine arts background is recommended.  The 7-day workshop begins Monday afternoon with the first meal being Sunday dinner and continues through the week with meals, lodging and instruction and concludes with lunch on Sunday.  A materials list will be sent to registered participants and specialized supplies will be available to purchase.

Fees: (Limited enrollment of 15 students;  Please contact Joy Harvey before enrolling)

  • $689 Includes: Includes 7 nights lodging, 21 meals, use of the camp, lesson plans, hands-on teaching and constructive critique.
  • $629 Includes: All instruction, no lodging and lunch and dinner (14 meals), lesson plans, hands-on teaching and constructive critique.
Thursday night will be a free night for attendants to visit and dine in the quaint town of Cambria.
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required and the balance is due at least 30 days prior to the workshop.  If you decide to transfer to a different workshop there is a $50 transfer fee.
