Over the years, Ocean Pines has hosted numerous board meetings, retreats, educational programs, workshops, family reunions, weddings and children’s camps. We strive to support the needs and desires of our guests in every possible way. Many individuals and groups report life-changing experiences in these unspoiled surroundings.
Designed with renewable resources in mind, our passive solar cabins are a unique blend of wood milled from wind fallen trees and straw bale construction. These bunk-style cabins sleep 10 people to accommodate groups of 35-100 and include indoor toilet and shower rooms. A large lodge and dining hall with a cozy stone fireplace and sweeping ocean views serve as the focal point for meetings and meals. Three delicious meals are prepared each day for guests.
A natural outdoor amphitheater includes a stage and seating for informal gatherings and presentations and evening campfires. Nearby, the Pines lodge is nestled among the trees and offers another location for meetings. Walks through the forest or to the ocean provide a valuable opportunity for solitude and nature appreciation. Please see our photo album for pictures of our facilities.
Hundreds of non-profit organizations, including churches, Alcoholics Anonymous, LA/SF Burn Foundations and AIDS Support Network have benefited from the healing atmosphere at Ocean Pines. This is an ideal setting for strategic planning workshops, organizational development and enhancing staff relationships. This is also a loving rustic destination wedding location.
